This early therapeutic support for babies offers one of the greatest opportunities in health care. Infancy represents an exceptionally auspicious time for setting an optimal course for all that follows. A small intervention early in life may help a new family bypass significant hardships.

Being born isn't easy.

Birth is a major transition for your baby, physically, spiritually and emotionally.

The birth process exerts forces on a baby's head, potentially compressing important nerves that govern digestion, sleep and other essential physiological functions. Even the normal process of being born can activate baby’s nervous system into a fight, flight or freeze response, creating physiological dysfunction and distress that can be expressed as feeding challenges, difficulty calming and sleeping, colic, attachment and more.

"Every baby should have a craniosacral therapy session."

Robert Fulford, DO, one of the fathers of modern craniosacral therapy.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy for Babies is a gentle and effective way to help your baby integrate from the birth experience, resolving any minor or major traumas, and allows the newborn’s system to calm and reorganize to its innate health. This includes regulating the nervous system, as well as physical adjustments and alignment.

Mothers are often included in the session as a powerful way to process the shared experience of the birth.  Calming mom's nervous system, supporting physical and emotional healing, bonding and transition into new motherhood has a direct impact on the wellbeing of the newborn as well as the family system as a whole.

Shortly after my second son was born, I realized that both he and I needed some attention for breastfeeding support and to create more ease. Daven was able to come do home visits in those first weeks postpartum. I’m incredibly grateful to have found her! She supported my son in releasing tension from his long birth process and proved invaluable to me in terms of coming more fully into my body and allowing the fears I’d held about this VBAC to melt away. Daven is profoundly intuitive, deeply connected and skilled. I highly recommend her!
